Tools ​

Open-source tools built and used by ChainTools in our own validator and relayer operations. All are MIT-licensed Python command-line tools; each page covers installation, configuration and usage, checked against the tool's code.

Observe ​

  • Orbit Metrics — Prometheus exporter for chain height, wallet balances, validator stake and chain parameters
  • Delegator Tracker — delegator counts and total stake per validator, with optional USD values, as a table, web page or Prometheus metrics
  • ANXT Watcher — status of Jelurida Ardor and NXT nodes in one colour-coded table

Maintain ​

  • IBC Refresh — scheduled Hermes packet clearing and client updates, with Discord/Slack alerts on failure
  • Cert Expiry Checker — days until TLS certificates expire, as a table or Prometheus metric

Protect ​

  • Rsync Backup Tool — timestamped rsync backups of common and host-specific folders from many servers
  • UFW Parser — UFW firewall rules from many servers, as a table, CSV, Excel or Ansible YAML

Inspect ​

  • Chain Sight — validators, delegators and governance proposals in a SQL database

ChainTools also hosts gRPC WebUI (based on the open-source grpcui) to browse the gRPC endpoints of our chains in the browser. Source code for all our tools is on GitHub.
