Requirements
- Python 3 (3.8 or newer recommended)
- Nodes whose API answers
getStaterequests from where you run the tool
Install
bash
git clone https://github.com/ChainTools-Tech/anxt_watcher.git && cd anxt_watcher
python3 -m venv .venv && . .venv/bin/activate
pip install .Usage
List the nodes in a text file, one per line. Include the API port if it isn't the default for the protocol:
txt
ardor-node-1.example.com:27876
ardor-node-2.example.com:27876
nxt-node.example.com:7876bash
anxtwatch --file hosts.txtFor each node, ANXT Watcher requests /nxt?requestType=getState over HTTP, and over HTTPS if HTTP fails (10-second timeout each). Up to 10 nodes are queried in parallel, with a progress bar.
Output
A table sorted by host, with these columns: Host, Application, Version, Blockchain State, Number of Blocks, Is Offline, Services, Number of Connected Peers.
The blockchain state is coloured:
| Colour | State |
|---|---|
| Green | UP_TO_DATE |
| Yellow | DOWNLOADING |
| Red | Any other state, or ERROR when the node didn't answer (all columns then show ERROR) |
